Has anyone stayed in the Disneyland hotel Fairytale Suite? I'd love to hear from you. What were your experiences? Was it difficult to book? It looks just beautiful online. And of course, what was the cost? Thanks for your help!

Yes, I have stayed in the FTS (Fairytale Suite)! It's awesome :) I also booked it for my son and DIL for their honeymoon, and they could not stop texting me about how amazing it was. Two things to note: it is a corner suite directly next door to the concierge lounge and includes concierge privileges, and they will only allow you to book 2 people in the room.

It sounds amazing. I'm hoping that we can get it on our wedding anniversary. Is there early check in and late check out? I mean, come on, for the cost, I want as much time as possible. Is there a mini bar or snacky fridge? Are there guest robes? Slippers? Tiara? Lol! And, it would be justm y husband and myself. I'm leaving my boyfriend at home lol

AHAHAHAHA!!! You're funny :D

It comes with soft, velvety robes. Yes, you can check in early and check out late (we did, anyway). You get to make good use of the lounge when you do that! We ran over to the lounge next door for champagne (sparkling wine) and sipped it while watching the fireworks, which are incredible from the FTS. They sent us a fruit platter that included some pretty cool things. I don't remember whether or not they had slippers, but we brought our own tiaras and wore them as much as we could! There is a steam shower which is huge, a giant jetted tub with a castle mosaic, a separate potty and bidet room, giant vanity (the granite even lights up!), there's a tv hidden in the bathroom mirror, everything works at the touch of a button (drapes, rising TV, etc). The entryway has little nooks with glass cases and holds fairytale characters...plus Tinkerbell flies around the entry and lights up the castle in one of the cases! Yes to the fridge.

Actually, I should just include a link to my post about it! I went with disneyluvr2, and we were joined by our friends lcasa and tinkcollector so we could celebrate DL2's birthday. What a fantastic time! Here's the link, and there's a link on the first page that shows a little video of Tinkerbell. http://www.disboards.com/threads/fairy-tale-suite-report-and-pics.3033074/

Wow!!!!! Ok. This is just beautiful.Dh thinks that we need to figure out how and how. Lol yeah. This needs to happen...

OMGosh, that was the most amazing room ever!! Talk about feeling like royalty! It was the one trip were we didn't care if we went to the park or not because we had just as much fun in the room! The room also comes with VIP seating for Fantasmic, and I think the parade and maybe WOC. We only used the Fantasic VIP seating though. We just walked into the park, sat in our special spot, watched Fantasmic!, then went back to the room. LOL!

If you pic up the phone and ask for something, they are there within minutes to grant your request. We needed an extra robe, and in 2 minutes someone was at the door with one. Same thing when the shower water wasn't hot enough. A repair man was there within minutes to fix it. We were just hoping to have it fixed by the next morning!

I can't tell you how many times we opened the front door, just to hear the music and see Tinkerbell fly around and light up the castle! LOL!! It was the most magical weekend I've ever had!pixiedust: Thanks for posting the link to the pics again DizMe!

Thanks ladies! I tried using a TA to book this room and I was offered a regular room or 1 br suite. I called Disney myself and my dates were available. Compared to WDW the rate was great! $100 a night more than a regular premium view CL room is amazing!

So to keep this secret from dd until March!!!!!

So thankful dh said I could take her alone for her 21st! Our first DL and probably last one so I wanted it to be special.

Thanks again for the info! It really helped!

What a wonderful memory for you and dd. I hope you will come back and post how wonderful it was when you return home. Take full advantage of just the two of you together -- those moments fly by.

(*and that's why I don't like TA's sometimes - no most of the time, they don't know as much as the people on these boards, they are my TA's and have never steered me wrong :))

Those that know me from WDW know I go often and take pix! I will be back here in March for sure!

Awesome!!! You will have a fantastic time! That will be a wonderful way to celebrate with your DD :)

I do think it's a pretty great deal, considering that you get all the extras plus concierge club for close to the same rate as a regular club room. The thing that kills it for many is the limit of 2 people in the room.

Oh what a shame dh and ds can't come now if they change their mind ;)

I know, right? The price isn't bad for all you get. The time savings for a once in a lifetime trip is well worth it.
