Has Anyone Stayed in Aotearoa or Fiji Since the Renovation?

How has the decor changed at the Polynesian in the renovated buildings? Do the new rooms still the dark carpet, batik looking spreads and drapes, and small canopies ofver the beads? How about the honey color bamboo furnishings? Has there been a color scheme change?

Still 7 months out but getting excited for our next trip!

Apparently they have kept these buildings sealed and are awaiting our return to the magic in october so they will be bright and shiney new! I will gladly review these fine buildings and rooms once the sanitized seal is opened upon our arrival.

My family is staying here in December and I was curious also about the new renovations. I came across this report from someone that had stayed in a new room this past August. Sure would love to read more on this also and maybe some pictures!
