Has anyone stayed in a BC at VB and hired a private chef?

We'll be in a Beach Cottage at Vero in Jan..
I was wondering if anyone here has done the same, and hired a private chef to come in and cook a really nice dinner one night?

Looking on the internet, I find one "private chef" in the Vero area, who's name is Mimi Ridzon --Anyone had any experience with her?

TIA

you might ask the resort.

I think HH has a private chef that will make a meal for you. So maybe VB has one, too?

A stay at the Beach cottage sounds wonderful but a private chef for the night sounds FANTASTIC! Can't help you with your seach just wanted to wish you a great time! :)

Used to have a private chef (my mom) ;) All kidding aside, curious why you want/need a private chef.

Haven't stayed @ Vero yet. Is there a dearth of good dining @ Vero (the resort) and the town, itself...or, are you just looking for an intimate, relaxing meal?

Thanks! jiggerj

Clearly it's not a "need" ;)
But as a big 4-0 birthday present for my DW, we're staying in a BC prior to our first Disney Cruise--and I thought for one night's dinner, a private chef might be a nice touch.

nice touch, indeed for the big 4-0; going to be hard to top when 50 rolls around. ;)

Not at all! ;)

A lifetime AARP membership, motorized scooter and a supply of 'depends' for when we stay at OKW will be easy (and cheaper) in comparison!! :earboy2: ;)

I can attest to the fact that this is one guy that really knows how to treat the people he cares about! They also take very good care of him in return!

:rotfl2: My DH "celebrated" this milestone in May...by his request, quite a sedate affair. We're both slipping into our Golden Years kicking & screaming. :hourglass

No plenty of nice places to eat, but if you get a BC you don't want to leave it! We had one for spring break. everyone loved it.

Did you hire the chef?

Actually we did...as I have some good friends in F&B we actually had a chef who worked at the resort come in on 'his night off'. It was great!!....I'd love to do something like that again...I wonder what Emeril would charge?
:rotfl:

Sounds dreamy!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately my entourage already travels with their private chef and maid...."me"

I'll forward the idea though, I'm on the cusp of "50" and it would make for a lovely evening, gourmet dinner by the beach!
