Your best bet might be to post this question over on the TripAdvisor forums. There's a group of very knowledgeable DC area people who regularly post and answer questions over there.

I have stayed there. What do you want to know? No parkign at the hotel, it is in the garage across the street and the restuarant in the hotel is very expensive. Breakfast was arount $20-$25 each. Rooms are nice, but don't both paying the extra for a city view because it is so far away you can't see anything.

We stayed there earlier this year. I really liked the area and it wasn't hard to get into DC at all. We didn't eat at the hotel, but found other restaurants nearby that were good. We walked around the harbor one night after dinner and it was wonderful. We did not have a car and relied on public transportation to get to/from DC. Pretty good experience in that regard.

Having said that, we were there on graduation weekend/air show, and scheduled maintenance of the metro. On one day (graduation), hardly any of the trains were running system wide and it was quite the nightmare for everyone. That's more of a DC Metro problem though, not National Harbor.

I was just curious about parking, which you answered and about the rooms, whether they were clean, etc..

We will be eating out for breakfast I think if it's that expensive

We stayed at the Wyndham National Harbor. We drove into the city each day, parked at the train station, and took the Metro from there. One day we went to Arlington Cemetery and parked there for the day, taking the Metro to the Mall in the afternoon.
