Has anyone stayed at the Laguardia Plaza hotel before a cruise out of NY?

I have a room booked there this fall as we get in late the night before and not worth spending a lot of $$$$ just to sleep. I was just wondering if anyone had stayed there and what it was like. We will go back to the airport and get Disney shuttles to the port.

No. I stayed at the Hampton Inn LGA the night before an early flight though and it was nice. I’m partial to Hilton-brand hotels though.

I will say that LGA is still a hot mess because of construction, so get the shuttle probably an hour earlier than you think you need to. In Feb at 4am on a Saturday what should have been a 5 minute ride took 45. I can only imagine it later in the day and/or not on a weekend.

I like Hampton Inns too. I got a really good price in CAD on the Plaza but thinking I might change. We get in very late, so basically just need a clean place to sleep.
