Needed another night so I got this hotel via Priceline for $25.00 for one night, just wondering if anyone has stayed here and what it's like. Looking for reviews, good, bad, indifferent, etc.
It's not your usual Hyatt. It's four pods of two story stucco buildings around 4 vinyl lined pools, hot tubs, and some play equipment. The rooms are clean, and for $25 I'm sure you'll be happy. The bathrooms do not have a full-sized tub, more like a large shower. There is no elevator.
There was a decent buffet at lunch, and they used to offer a breakfast buffet too (no personal experience, tho).
I understand Priceline bids include free use of the shuttle to the parks (inconvenient times).
We stayed at this hotel last January and we thought it was nice. Certainly not extravagant, but pleasant and clean. Each building has two floors and each room has a patio or balcony. Some rooms look out on the parking lot instead of the pool or garden area. The pool near our building was quite large and very clean. I liked the fact that they have security guards as you enter or leave the premises. There are also many restaurants and shops nearby, and the drive to Disney and Sea World isn't very long.
Thanks for all your responses. I feel ok now, someone on Priceline said this was a TERRIBLE place and it worried me. We are only staying for one night at the end of our vacation (to attend MNNSHP) so I'm sure it'll be just fine for one night.
It is not terrible, but it is certainly not up to the standards of what most people think for Hyatt. However, it is clean and the staff is usually friendly since it is a big conference hotel. For one night at that price, you most likely will find it okay.

The Hyatt Orlando closed down today and will not be reopening. You will probably want to call Priceline to see if they are switching you to a new hotel..
