We're thinking about a trip in November. Dh told me he was ready for another trip - I about fell over with excitement!! :D Anyways, we are considering the Holiday Inn Family Suite Hotel and getting a kid suite. Has anyone stayed in a handicap accessible kid suite? If so, can you tell me what the bathroom was like. Also, if you've stayed in a regular Kid Suite, was it a tube with a shower in it or a walk-in shower and a seperate tube. I have alot of problems getting into and out of regular bath tubes. Walk-in showers are much easier.

Thanks!!
Christine:D

My mom and I are taking my 6yrold non mobile (in wheelchair) and non0verbal (but always smiling) DD here. In fact we booked today. When I made reservations, I was asked if I needed an accessible room and wheter I wanted a Roll-in shower or a tub with a shower. WE got the tub as Ry loves her baths.
Also I inquired about shuttle servive and they will accommodate wheelcahirs as long as you give them 24hrs notice.

The regular Kidsuites have a combo tub shower. Also the Bunk beds have a rail to stop falling but it might be hard to get a child over the railing.

Thank you for your replies. We decided to book an accessible room with a roll-in shower.
I did find out that they do have accessible Kid-Suites that are themed!!! :D
