Has anyone stayed at POR with 5

Well I haven't stayed at POR yet, but we are staying there at the end of April with 5 people (3 A, 2 K). I think it is definately doable. I can tell you more about our experience when we return though.

We did this last June but had 2 adults and 3 kids. We went from a Deluxe to a Moderate when we switched resorts so the room did seem a lot smaller than at the BC. My 4 year old loved sleeping on the trundle bed and it will slide under the regular bed when not in use. The odd thing about it is that it pulls out in front of the door so that's a little awkward.


There a double sinks so that helps.

POR is a lovely resort and it a reasonable price for a family of five. I think you will be fine. I would stay there again. It really is beautiful.

I requested a corner room because they are the only ones with 2 windows. Too me, it helped "open up" the room a little bit. Next time if I do this I would request the 2nd floor instead of the 1st.

We so love POR - but now that we have 3 - we'll either get two connecting rooms or a room at a deluxe.
We tried it with 3 and it was just too tight. If you don't care about that and are there for just a room to sleep in then you should be fine.
But, we do spend time in our room - bad weather, napping for the baby - and I want to be comfortable. Plus, with two bathrooms and two girls! The kids also get their TV and Jim and I get ours.

It's my mom that's the third adult, so we may need the space and bathroom. We still dont know exaclty when we'll get to go in the fall so I'm just doing my homework, thanks again! (My kids are boys 7, 3 (at the time) so he'd probably love the trundle)

We just returned from POR and had 5 in the room - 2 adults and three teenagers the size of adults! We had no problem with the room and would stay there again!

We also just returned from POR, we had two adults, two adult size teens, and a 3 year old. My daughter (15) actually slept on the trundle bed, her feet did hang over if she was lying stretched out, but she said it wasn't bad, the bed is only about 5' long. But as far as space, etc. we did just great, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is a great resort.

We stayed with 5-me, DH, DMIL, DS-13. DS-8.

My DMIL brought her aerobed from home and slept on that in the room so the kids used one double bed and we used the other. In the morning she would just push it under the bed that didn't have the trundle.

It's a great resort and we are going there again our next trip!

I was worried about that room being too small with two adults and a 9,7, and 2 year old but we were wonderful and cozy all week so I am sure POR will be just fine.

I did try making a reservation online but it won't let me. It says only four are allowed although I KNOW five are. I like making reservations online so I can pay with installments. Has anyone else had any luck making online reservations for five at POR?

Weird. I play around with quotes all the time on the online site and it always lets me get the quote for POR with 5. Someone else posted about the same thing though a while back.
