We stayed there in February in a 1 bedroom and really liked it. I would definitely stay again. I loved having the washer/dryer so I could pack less, we could eat breakfast and lunch in the kitchen, we could tuck DS in at night or naptime and go in the bedroom and watch TV/take a hot bath/just sit and talk. If you take the Sherberth Rd. entrance, it's 5 minutes away from AK and the other parks are easily accessible. McDonald's and Wendys are right there, and there are other fast food places and chains up and down 192. It was really clean except for a few smudges on the mirrored wall in the living room. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless. The furniture was new, as were the mattresses and linens. Just be aware that it's a timeshare and you are responsible for taking out your own trash and putting your linens in the tub at the end of your stay. You can pay extra for housekeeping, but we didn't bother.
Cons: check-in takes forever, at least 45 minutes when we were there, and we got in after dinner. I suggest dropping off 1 person to do it, then taking the rest of the family to go get groceries or a meal. I don't know if it's the case for all units, but the 1 bedroom we stayed in had the bedroom window facing the hallway. We could never have the curtains open or everyone would see in. The living room had sliding glass doors that faced outside, so that was nice and sunny. Ask for a room away from the stairs and elevators. Ours was right next to the elevator and the maintenance guys talked loudly and did work in the wee hours. And watch out for golf carts! The maintenance guys drive at full speed through the parking lots, so hold onto your kiddos!
