Has anyone stayed at GKTW without a rental car?

how did you travel to the parks? From the website it seems they only offer a shuttle once per day. What if you want to travel to the parks in the evenings? We thought about taxis but we have 3 kids who need car seats/booster so how does that work? Is there a shuttle service nearby you can use/pay for? Any tips would be so appreciated. Driving is not an option for us.

1) People stay at GKTW without rental cars on a DAILY basis.
2) GKTW is really great at making sure guests can get around.
. . . I am not a GKTW employee, but I am a Volunteer Coordinator for GKTW, and deal with this all the time.
3) For your 3-kids and car-seat-needs, MEARS does have vans that can accommodate your needs. **
4) Just ask for your needs when you call MEARS for a ride. (407-422-2222)

** As a side note for those without taxi experience, you pay for the taxi and transport, not for the number of guests or car-seats. As an example, if there are five people in the cab , they pay what is on the meter for the ride, and not what is on the meter per person. If you use a taxi company other than MEARS, make sure you ask before getting into the cab. Some "gypsy cabs" (independents) have been know to try to charge extra per-person or for car seats. Of course, you can also call UBER, which is usually a lot cheaper than MEARS.
