Has anyone stayed at both WH and WBC?

I've stayed at both.

Windsor Hills~ 2 different visits. 1st visit in a 2 bedroom condo. 2nd visit in a 5 bedroom with a private pool. Both places were VERY nice, clean, wonderful furnishings, etc. But we definitely didn't enjoy the main pool...the slide is rickety and the seams in it really hurt your back going down. So we rented the big house the 2nd time. But while we loved the house, we kinda felt we were just borrowing someones house for the week. We really missed that " resort" feel. I don't like to cook at all and I hated that there wasn't any place we could walk to and grab a sandwich, etc. Also...not having a free shuttle is a pain in the butt for us! My kids are really far apart in age...17,13,7,2. We tend to split up and come and go as we please...especially my teens. They were stuck going on the same schedule the whole trip.

Bonnet Creek~ IMO this is the best option if you need/want to stay offsite! The units are very nice and spacious. And the biggie for us is it has that resort feel that we really love! All the different pools, restaurants, activities and free shuttles! We have really enjoyed our stays here! I feel it's very similar to the Disney resorts in that you can spend days just hanging out there.

We're annual passholders and go to Disney 3-4 times per year and only at peak season....spring break, 4th of July, Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Years. We prefer onsite but if I can't find a good deal, we stay at Bonnet Creek. And my kids specifically asked to spend Christmas week at Bonnet Creek this year because they want the room to spread out, etc. :thumbsup2

We have stayed at both... and agree with Jenny-momof3, WBC has more of a resort feel to it. My kids actually prefer WBC over a renting a house, whereas my husband likes having the privacy of a home.

I like both, and you'll be fine with either option. :thumbsup2

Stayed at both as well and agree with the comparison of a Condo vs. a Resort feel.

Some main differences in my opinion:

1) Pools...WBC wins this hands down if you want themed pools
2) Parking...WH wins this hands down
3) Pricing...WH wins this hands down
4) Commute...WH surprisingly wins this one. I hated Buena Vista Drive's stoplights...very irritating and it slowed you down.

We will most likely stay at WBC for all future trips because the kids love the pools. But once they grow out of "themed pool age" it will be back to WH.
