Cool, I'm waiting for the radio stations to start playing the holiday music 24/7 too....and I've bought the baking stuff already too, its baking this weekend for me too!
Since Disney is taking a huge chunk out of our budget (we leave in 24 days--woo hoo!) I think me and the girls are going to be doing some food gifts. I've got some great recipes for hot pepper jelly and different herb vinegars and such. My garden was overflowing this summer, is still producing more jalapenos than we can eat, and my herbs are going strong. Might as well use them.
For good holiday music (free too) go to MSN Music. Of course, that's only one place to get it online.
I've also got the pumpkin candle burning in my office. Smelling up this end of the hall pretty good now .
I haven't decorated anything yet. But I did see a really big Christmas wreath hanging on the front of a house on my way to work this morning. So there are some people out there in the holiday spirit already. More power to 'em.
I cannot wait until Thanksgiving. I have 2 trees that I put up among other things and it takes WAY more than one day. Esp. since I have Hallmark ornaments and I put them all away in their little boxes.
Only issue here is BIL doesn't like to see holiday stuff up before Thanksgiving and he is coming over for Thanksgiving dinner. I am wondering if I can just put the living room tree up so he doesn't have to look at it.
But I DID put all my favorite Christmas songs on itunes and then on my Ipod--155 songs!

We will start decorating this weekend. Normally it would be early for us, but we are going to WDW 11/30 thru 12/07 so when we get home we will put up the tree and that's it! Going to get out my Byers Choice Carolers this weekend!
We are decorating this weekend. My new house needs it! You can always make it feel homey with Christmas. I also need to find out what I can buy on sale.
I can't remember what we brought to Texas or sold at the garage sale.
Also we are going to Missouri for Christmas. I may not put up a tree this year, we sold it. But I will put up everything else.
My DH put the X-mas lights on the house about 3 weeks ago, but they have not been turned on - he just wanted to get them up while the weather was still nice and warm
We are decorating part of the inside of the house really early this year. We just bought a second X-mas tree w/ all the trimmings and it is going up next weekend.
I have Thanksgiving at my house and it's easier this year to just put up the tree, then to put all the stuff in storage and then drag it out again the next day. So, on Thanksgiving my house is going to be 1/2 X-mas and 1/2 Thanksgiving - it'll be the best of both holidays
In a way, I guess. I have a gift card from one of the home stores and I'm looking at covers for our poor old couch. Red is appealing to me because it's Christmassy and I'll probably get it so I'm getting there.
However, I do have a huge pumpking grinning at me right now so I'm not quite out of that mindset just yet!
Not yet, but I will probably start next week. We are having a neighborhood open house right after Thanksgiving and I want the house to be decorated then. It takes me to long to do it to wait until Thanksgiving.
The kids have already started putting out a few things. We are putting our trees (one regular, one Disney) up this weekend. We normally put them up Thanksgiving night and the following Friday but we are leaving for WDW the day after Thanksgiving this year and I want the decorations done before we leave.
Don't think I'll have the shopping finished though.
My DB is coming over with his family for Xmas on December 2nd so I'm thinking of starting this weekend. I usually do it the day after thanksgiving too but I need the extra time this year.
