Has anyone seen this show yet? Is this show inside of Universal Studios or is it in the lagoon in between City Walk and the parks?

I watched this show yesterday sunday july 9th. and I was a bit dissapointed, first of all the show was supposed to start at 9:45 pm, 9:45 came and went and no announcements or anything, it's now 10 and nothing happens so people are starting to get a bit furious. At about 10:10 an announcement comes on saying they're experiencing technical difficulties, about a minute later the show starts and I'm wondering why was the announcement made at 10:10 and not at 9:45 or 9:50.The show itself is held inside Universal Studios in the lagoon and it was allright but I wasn't blown away by it, basically it's clips from a wide array of Universal movies with fireworks, lasers and other backdrops in buildings.OK but not great.

I've seen the show. Much to my disamy that I am probably the only one who enjoyed this show a lot accroding to what I heard and read. But anyway, I think it is a very "Universal Studio" show which plays the moive clips of all famous moive made by Universal. It is kind of retrospective show that if you don't feel for the movie espcially the score from the greatest Universal movies, you probably would not consider it to be the best show you've seen. What everyone would agree is the Terminator Segment is VERY IMPRESIVE. The fire and explosion went everywhere resmebling the Judgment Day. However it only last for like 3 seconds I guess. Maybe it is due to fact that Terminator is not made by Universal. Overall I recommand you to check it out because there are few parts of the show you might enjoy, if not the entire show.

I swear I was also there on the day it started late, I stood in front of Mel's diner and from that angle the show isn't so great. The next day we went back to see it again, it was good if you like the movies. My hubby loved it and taped the whole thing. We watched it again tonight on video. My daughter who is 10 found it a bit boring. She commented that the only part really for kids was the fireworks.

Finally caught it last night--not crowded at all, at least by Mardi Gras or HHN standards. I was impressed by the montage--a lot of movies I wouldn't have expected (A Beautiful Mind and Fast Times @ Ridgemont High come to mind), but it worked. The Scarface bit alone is worth standing around for an hour. The lighting effects on the wall were also amazing, when the glare from the fireworks didn't ruin them.

That said, the rest of the crowd was clearly more impressed with the sporadic fireworks than the globes. Still, a HHN show could be amazing.

Oh no! I'm excited to see this, but not so sure now. Is this a permanent thing or is it just a summer offering?

It's only for summer, I think ONLY through mid august, amazing they did this whole set-up for like a month and a half, although I've heard Halloween Horror Nights will get some sort of show with the globes!!!

I was just there and they said it was going to end August 25th I think
