Yes, I have seen the GF Villa models, & I can tell you as a former custom builder, they are beautifully detailed, with a LOT of expense on those "little" things. Before we bought
DVC 20 years ago, I would save up & we'd stay a week at the GF, as I love the romance & yes, the luxury, of the Victorian era. They have done a gorgeous job of making the villas very luxurious, yet welcoming. The colors are soft & relaxing (think upscale spa colors), & the finishes are stunning.
There are TWO showers in the Studios! Yowza! The Carrera marble has gorgeous ogee edges (at much more cost than without), the subway tiles are beveled, the mirrors & hardware are exquisite. We got a total of 10 people in the Master shower in the 1 bdrm!

Not that I would ever HAVE 10 people in the shower!
The pull down bed in the living rooms are like Aulani's, and unlike Aulani's, they have darling panels depicting Dumbo (think the song, "Baby Mine"), & the one in the 1 bdrm has Mary Poppins, though you'll have to look to find her! (Should I give away all the details? Naw, no way I can remember everything! Too much to see in a few minutes!) There is a WALK IN closet in the Master!!! NICE! I love the free standing, similar to a slipper-style tub, and personally I prefer the bubble jets to a regular jacuzzi. Pictures on the DVC website don't even come close to giving you an idea of how lovely these villas are.
The kitchen's fridge & DW are hidden behind cabinet doors that match the kitchen's. The range is a Bosch. Oh, that fridge is counter depth, like a Sub Zero. It's a GE Monogram. The sink is apron style (LOVE those!), the cabinet doors have seeded glass, & there's a hidden wine rack behind the cabinet door over the range hood. There really aren't any hidden Mickeys in the villas, though you will find Mickey.
No, there aren't a lot of drawers, but in the living room of the 1 bedroom, there are 2 small fabric ottomans that have hidden storage, 2 drawers discreetly placed in the wall separating the banquette from the living area. As I recall, there are 3 or 4 small drawers in the end tables too. I could have forgotten more storage.... I believe there was a really nice bureau in the Master.
The details are amazing throughout the villas. Whether you like the Victorian style or not, I can't imagine anyone not recognizing the quality & attention to detail. There IS a Check In desk at the Villas, though as mentioned earlier, it won't be open through the night. I have not seen the lobby area, but have seen renderings, & it has a beautiful fountain. Hope this helps you visualize! I heard the sales the first day were stellar.
