Has anyone seen the GF XMAS decor?

Just wondering if anyone has seen the GF tree and decorations for this year and if so any pictures to share? We are going prior to the 10 day Christmas cruise. We were disappointed with the cut back on decorations last year. Hoping it will be back up to Grand standard this year.

Hello! We ate at Gasparilla's (counter service at GF) on Sunday, Nov 21st. We really enjoyed the Christmas decorations at that resort. There is of course the huge tree, then there is also some sort of gingerbread house in the lobby, too.

Even though the WL and AKL are more my "type" of decor (I like the more rustic look) I kinda like the GF Christmas decorations better! Which is funny, cuz most people really rave about the WL decorations.

I do have a couple of pictures, but I could not post them to save my life, as I am a computer illiterate. If you PM me your email addy I will email them to you!

The decorations at the GF are wonderful. I thought it was all very decorated!!! Loved the tree and the lifesize Gingerbread house.
Also we saw lots of other decorations. You will love it!!!

For those that have seen the GF this year and prior, is this year's tree the same as last year's (2003) or did they bring back the better tree (pre-2003)?

The GF is so beautiful. I am more of a "wilderness LODGE type of girl, but the GF looks great with all of the victorian decor. The fact that the resort itself is so pure white it makes the decorations POP! We saw a few weddings going on. Thier pictures will be fabulous!

I think the problem with 2003 GF tree was those gold lights. All the other years they were the white ones. Did not like the gold ones. What color are the lights this year? Do I have too much time on my hands???

Anyone remember the GF tree when it was made of poinsettias?

I remember the poinsettia tree in the GF. I loved the huge tree they had pre-2003. Last year's tree just looked sick in comparison.

I was supposed to be arriving at the GF today, but had to cancel the trip. I'm so depressed!!!!

I am so happy we are staying at the WL. We can go right over to the GF. Saturday will be truly a great day. It is now finally starting to hit me that we are going to WALT DISNEY WORLD.
