We'll be back at the "World" in early Dec. and I was hoping to find this elusive rabbit somewhere in my travels around the "World" . Has anyone been lucky enough to spot my furry friend , and if so where ?
Thanks !

No, captain america is right -- that was a Touchstone production. I recall it coming out around the time that MGM first opened. In he past we found Roger in Toontown in the MK, and MGM. In fact last year while shopping for souvies I remember some shirts with Jessica Rabbit on them. I can't recall the last time I have seen Roger in the parks -- is he in the MGM parade?

not wrong park, wrong board.

correct park, correct board... Roger Rabbit is nowhere. He and Jessica Rabbit are not part of the characters that show up.

Character rights issues between Disney/Touchstone and Amblin (Spielberg) have kept Roger from appearing in the parks for quite a few years now.

just a question, but why isnt roger allowed to appear in the parks as a charater when over in DL he has a whole ride dedicated to the movie?? :confused3

I can tell you first hand that Roger Rabbit has been seen at MGM, I am lucky enough to have a pic with the elusive rabbit. Unfortunately its from 1992.

If you are a Roger Rabbit fan, there is a larger than life icon at the Pop Century Resort. It is part of one of the 80's buildings, I think.

I, too can confirm that Roger used to appear at WDW! DH and I had our pic taken back in 1991 with him at MGM. Unfortunately, I haven't seen him since then. I have never seen Jessica "live" but they did have a life-size cardboard cut-out of her at one of the counter service restaurants in MGM, otherwise there is the large neon sign at Pleasure Island!

I thought you meant the movie.... :rotfl2: my DD just rented it a few days ago and we were cracking up .

Sadly, never heard of anyone seeing him in the last few years. I saw Roger Rabbit back in 1996 in Epcot in a show at the American Adventure, but that was it! He used to be in I think Spectromagic parade but now Genie took his place. I wish they would get him back!! :cloud9:

We have a "Sing-A-Long-Songs" for my daughter, and one of them is a parade, including...Yup....Roger Rabbit, right there with the Fab 4(or 5, depending on how you count)

Havent seen Roger in the parks in YEARS. Wish he would make a grand return!

:)

The only remnant of Roger Rabbit that I can recall in recent years is a car used in the movie in that auto graveyard part of the Backlot Tour.

Excuse me for my wrong board comment.
I made a mistake and confused Roger Rabbit with Bugs Bunny, the Warner Bros character.
I am sorry, guess I need a vacation.

Well, folks, Michael Eisner is FINALLY gone! Maybe now, it'll be easier for them to strike a new deal with Amblin to allow Roger to go back to making appearances in the parks.

Besides, they get A LOT of requests and demands for him to appear, so they'll have to do something about it anyway!
