Has anyone seen Ratatouille?

Yes, I saw it earlier this year and was totally unimpressed. Found it long winded and boring.
Not impressed at all. Then again, maybe I just dont find rats cooking in a french restaraunt appealing or different from the norm... :rotfl:

I'm not sure whether I fancy this one. Will probably wait till it comes out on dvd:thumbsup2

Saw it yesterday.

Not pixar's best, not enough fun to keep kids entertained and not enough of those slight enuendos to keep the adults amused.

The quality of animation is excellent, but the story feels a bit samey. 'You have to follow your dreams and stick by your friends', felt like i had seen it before.

A great family film, if your kids aren't easily distracted (a lot of 11 year olds in the cinema had tuned out by the end and where annoying everyone). Much prefer Toy Story or Monsters Inc. Not in the same league as any of those, or Nemo.

must admit the short film beforehand 'lifted' was another quality production.

I went to see it yesterday. I actually enjoyed the film, and the quality of the animation but it was a bit too "grown up". The short at the beginning was very funny, although the people behind me didn't get what it was until the end which doesn't really matter but I really really really missed the outtakes and/or extra clips at the end which have been at the end of nearly every other pixar film.

Otherwise, it was good.

2 hours does seem a bit long. Our 4 yr old has got a definite attention span for the cinema.

Once he's had enough he stands up in the cinema and shouts 'Mam/Dad - I want to go home now!'.

I think 2 hrs exceeds his limit by about an hour...:sad1:

We've been this afternoon, I'd have to say it was ok, not my fave. Took a while to get going, and an awful lot of children took toilet breaks throughout the film, so it didn't keep them all occupied like other films we've been to see!, and most of the laughter came from the parents :lmao:

I saw it like,in june, because it was in the states, and it was pretty good.It was freaky, though because the rats were going all over the kitchen, but it was good. Here(in the states) its coming out on dvd nov.6.I might buy it.

Totally agree, way too long, pretty good though, although I'm glad I didn't take really little ones to see it!
