What did you think of his show? Would it be worth $32.50?

Yes. We have seen it twice.

He was enjoyable the first time we saw him in the 90s. The 2nd time I was a little put off that I had seen many of his illusions on television...so felt like had I not seen them before, that it would have been better.

But yes--totally worth the $32.50 to see him at least once.

And no--you cannot tell how he does what he does. You'd think without cameras that you could figure it out. Nope.

For that price, I would recommend going. He puts on a good show. Depending on the venue, the scale of the show may seem small compared to the TV specials, but the illusions are very entertaining. There is some filler, but it's a fun outing.

We saw him in Vegas a few years ago and it was an awesome show!! I think our tickets were alot more than $32.50 so for that price, definitely go :)

We went to see David Copperfield a few years ago when he came to Tulsa. We actually got to be PART OF THE SHOW……sorta……

Here’s the story……we bought our tickets very last minute. Like a day or two before the show. So, our tickets ended up being in the very last row.

Anyway, we arrive to the show very early. DW and I are sitting in our seats talking when this guy walks up to us and asks if we would like to sit closer – like in the 3rd row. I was confused……was he trying to SELL us better seats AFTER we had already sat down?? I said I don’t understand.

He tells us that they need to “buy some time” between illusions. He wants us to wait until after Copperfield does his first illusion, then walk to our “seats” in the 3rd row. Then Copperfield will “make fun” of us for coming in late.

So, we say sure. We sit in our “normal” seats while the show begins. And he does his first illusion. Then the “usher” runs over and tells us to come with him. So, we go with him and he “ushers” us to our new seats – in the 3rd row. Well, as we sit down, Copperfield looks at us, then looks at his watch, and then says something about us missing the first illusion.

What is funny, is that we brought binoculars. So, DW is carrying the binocular case and Copperfield asks her “what do you have there?”. Well, she didn’t want to tell him – she didn’t want to give anything away – why would we bring binoculars if we are sitting on the 3rd row? So she says “it’s nothing. Just a purse.” He says not it isn’t let me see. She’s like “NO!” It was funny.

Anyway………back to the show……

He is great. He did an illusion right in front of us. He took someone’s wedding ring off their finger, did something with it, and then it appeared in someone else’s pocket several rows away. He also levitated something right in front of us.

I don’t know how they do some of the things they do…. :confused3

I saw him several years ago. The show was very good -- he is a great entertainer and the stories he develops with the illusions are almost as good as the illusion itself. I would pay $32.50 to see the show again.

DH and I saw him probably 5-6 years ago and would love to go to another one of his shows. Definitely worth $32.50! :)

I saw him in Las Vegas in 2004. It was a good show, but a couple times I just rolled my eyes like "does he really expect us to think that videotape is really live? or those random people from the audience are really random?"

The tricks with props in the theatre were great. We got our money's worth, but I doubt we'll see him again. The kids loved him.

I saw him for free because my station gave me the tickets. I had no idea it would be so GOOD!! He is spellbounding! Go and enjoy!
