Hi all ~ I am half thru Conversations with God ~ to be honest, I am reading the book and listening to it on tape. I read, then a couple days later listen to what I've read on tape. I am having trouble absorbing the content. I would love a discussion about this book ~ either in this thread or PM. Thanks! Sandra

Sorry, I haven't read it but I thought I would bump it back to page one for you.

I haven't read that, but would be interested in looking at it and possibly reading it along with you to discuss. Can you give me the author and I will try and see if it's at our library when I go tomorrow.

Give me an author and I would love to help you with this. God is one of my favorite subjects to discuss!!

I looked up the title on our local library and on Amazon to check information. If this is the same one, let me know, author-Neale Donald Walsch. It looks like there are three different books, so we would need to know which one you are reading to be able to read along with you and discuss.

I agree. I haven't read it but would be glad too

I haven't read it...sounds interesting.

How are you doing SandraC?

Just back from the library and picked up a copy: Conversations with God-Book 1-Author: Neale Donald Walsch. I am going to start reading over the weekend. I'll let you know what I think. Anyone else want to join?

SandraC-how far along are you now?

Hi ~ I finished reading CwGod and listening to the book-on-tape. I enjoy books on tape while resting and meditating.

I have just started a Deepak Chopra book.

I have decided that it's time for a little work on myself ~ my spiritual self. I don't mean 'religion'. I don't belong to any one particular religion but I am very spiritual.

I am very excited to chat about Conversations with God when you all get into the book.

Thanks ~ Namaste, Sandra

I've read both Book 1 and Book 3 - somehow I missed Book 2 LOL.

It really made me reconsider alot of my religious background teachings from my parents and churches I have attended. (I was raised Southern Baptist but now I am paganistic.)

Book 1 was good, but I liked Book 3 better (I can't find it right this second but I believe it's titled New Conversations with God).

Anyway, Book 3 recaps Book 1, but explores alot more into different religions' beliefs, etc. and how these cause most of our world problems. I've recommended both of these books several times on here.
