Has anyone purchased a DVC contract through Fidelity?

That's brilliant. I just made an offer on a BCV contract. Should I contact the other broker now or wait till the owner accepts my offer?

The offer would have needed to have been made through the co-broker. If you've already made the offer through Fidelity, I would just stick with them.

Too late. Can't make an offer and then expect them to bring in a new broker to split the comission with.

I don't see why you need another broker anyway. You know a LOT about Disney and the point system. Adding another person into the mix isn't really going to give you any more safety than what you already have. Just read the contract very carefully and make sure the banked points are there (if there are any), that the point total is right, the UY is right, and run a full title search (Fidelity will offer this as part of their escrow for a fee as do all other legit TS sales companies). That's really it. There is no more to it than that (unlike buying a home where you can get nailed by home isspections, disclosures, etc).

I don't believe it makes much of a difference who you buy your points through.

Some realtors are better communicators than others , or some other realtors may move a bit slow.

This may cause a problem for those people that buy points 5 weeks before an anticipated trip and are going nuts because it's not moving quick enough. I've seen that quite a few times here on the boards. They NEED the points ASAP!

We bought our AKV contract through Fidelity..Our contact was Rachel and she was good. It was anxious waiting for ROFR and waiting for closing docs, but she always e-mailed updates and kept me informed, would use them again.. Good Luck on your contract!
