We bought this for the kids for Christmas. Tonight we took them to see the movie. 
It was NOT all that I had hoped for. I thought it would be fast paced and exciting with stunning visuals and special effects. It wasn't "bad" but it certainly wasn't GREAT. Twice the younger two asked if we could leave. On the way home my 11 year old asked why they bothered with 3D when they didn't really "make use of it"...when the programs codes broke down they could have had fragments fly out towards the audience or something but it was just kind of ....... blah.
I kept waiting for the pace to pick up. To see something truly cool. But I didn't. I did like the story, though (and I missed the original TRON due to age I guess.) So now I'm wondering if the game is going to be as boring for them as the movie LOL Anyone played it?
