Has anyone planned a private dining event at DLR?

I'm looking to plan a semi-private dinner for about 8-10 people, possibly at Steakhouse 55. I know I need to call Disney directly, but will be travelling this week so it may be hard to find the time. In the interim, I was wondering if anyone here had experience with planning something like this with Disney Dining?

Any info or tips are greatly appreciated!

I did my rehearsal dinner at the Napa and worked with the assistant manager there directly. You will need to call Steakhouse 55 and talk to their peeps. They will work out "private dining options" and give you the low down on the specific costs/menu. If you want a private dining room, there is a set minimum for the total bill and it isn't cheap. They will provide you with set menus to choose from, also. They will also work with you on guests that have dietary needs that do not match the menus offered.
