Has Anyone ordered a fake tree online before?

In Smart Money Magazine DEC. Issue Bob Villa says the tree from Holiday Tree and Trim is his favorite. It's an Imperial Surpreme. It won most realness, color and overall shape. For a 6.5ft it will be $400. We've never bought a fake tree, 2 were given to us over the years, but it's time to splurge on a good one. In the magazine it says Holiday Trim and Tree is in Bayonne, N.J., but I can only find the website as christmasdepot.com in Bayonne, N.J. who sells the Imperial Surpreme trees, I wonder if it's the same company.
Anyways, back to my question anyone order online and do you think that's a lot for a fake tree?

I ordered mine from HSN.com after Christmas 2 years ago and it was about $129 for a 6.5 foot, slim pre-lit tree.
It is not the most beautiful tree in the world, but it's easy to put up and after some branch fluffing it looks fine. I do add extra lights. $400 sounds like a lot to me, but I'm a bargainhunter.

I ordered one from target.com last week. It's unbelievably beautiful. It's a 7.5 foot blue sherwood, pre-lit, with pinecone ornaments. It cost $180.

Ours was ordered on-line from Frontgate. We bought it on sale, after Christmas, so it was about $400 for the 9.5', pre-lit tree. I think it's about $800 normally. It's beautiful and very easy to assemble.

I do think it's a lot of money for a tree, that's why we bought after Christmas. But it's worth it (IMO) to spend the money to get a nice one, rather than settle for a cheap one that will frustrate you every year putting it up and taking it down (like our old one).

Lynn CC...yes it is the Holiday Tree and Trim website...

They have ad's in our local paper and that is the website that they give...odd but that's it..you think they would have used Holiday Tree and Trim somehow...

HT&T is going to be on that John Ratzenberger show on Dec 18th.....
