Has anyone made the Hershey's Gridiron Cake?

I'm trying to make this for my DS's birthday party. I'm only at the baking stage right now, but Im looking at the picture and thinking how I'm going to make all the "parts". The Twizzlers they have for the goal posts look like they are bent pretty well, however I'm thinking the usually unbend very easily.

So, if you have made this cake, how did the goal posts come out, and did you use any special tricks to keep them bent?

To make the goal post heat the twizzler for about 10 seconds, shape, and then put in the freezer. I usually do this first thing so it's sure to set. I hope this is helpfull. I have made this cake for several years now and it is hit!
