HAS ANYONE made a ressie -VB @7 mo at Thanksgiving?

Hi. Has anyone who does not own at VB made a ressie for Thanksgiving time (Wed-Sun) there at 7 months out? I will be hoping for a 2 BR...Thanks!

Since no one has answered you, I'll comment even though our experience doesn't exactly answer your question. FWIW, though, I don't think you will have a problem getting your reservation at 7 months.

We just returned from a 2 night visit -12/5 & 12/6. We booked an Ocean view Inn room for those nights at the 7 month mark. Granted, it's not a 2 bedroom or exactly the time you plan to visit. However, I did ask the CM at check in if they were full. He said no - their "busier" time didn't start for another week or so. IMHO, it wasn't at all busy - there were people around, but not all that many. Perhaps the cooler weather discouraged some from hanging around the resort. We spent most of Saturday exploring the shops in VB as it was too cold for even us Minnesotans to swim or spend too much time gazing at the ocean.

OTOH, we did spend the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights after Thanksgiving, 2001 at VB in a two bedroom. That one was for cash, though. Weather was absolutely perfect - we (and most others there) spent every day at either the pool or on the beach. Resort wasn't full then either (not even close), but it was right after 9/11 and many were not traveling then.

Anyway, I really don't think you will have a problem getting your reservation. Might see you there - but we haven't decided whether or not to spend part of our "right after Thanksgiving, 2004" trip there or not. We'll need a 2 bedroom, also, but won't be competing with you for a points reservation - we'll need to pay cash if we go, LOL!
