I belonged to Hotwire Savings Club and was supposed to receive a membership in a new club but never received any information by e-mail.

I noticed they now have a site called DealPass.... has anyone used them yet? Thanks for any info :)

I was a hotwire saving club member too - I just recevied an email the other day from dealpass - I went and signed on with my hotwire id and password and it brings you to the exact same hotwire savings club web pages that were there before - so it is exactly the same. I haven't been using it lately so I am thinking about cancelling since there are no extra's with it being dealpass now.

Edited to add that last week the hot hotwire saving pages were pulling up with the Disney ticket - this week they are not and there are no disney tickets. Bummer!

I had to call them a couple of weeks ago to get my membership transferred over to Passport to Fun as they had indicated back in April. They emailed me my new id number within a week, and they gave me 5 days to check out the new site before being charged. I definitely use the membership with the 20% gift cards -- especially for Target, ToysRus, Olive Garden. Looks like they're charging old HWSC members 9.95 per month, but new members pay $199 a year. On Passport to Fun, max is 20 gift cards per retailer per year.

I was transferred last month. They are similar. I don't buy my disney passes from them anyway, so no loss there.

I am paying $7.95 a month, same as Hotwire.

I decided to keep the new club after transferring my hotwire membership, and placed an order for cards, got them in 3 or 4 days !!!! Still 7.95,

I called them a few days ago to cancel the membership and said if I stayed for now (I can cancel whenever I want) they will send me a free $25 gas card. I figure that's 4 free months of dealpass. I may buy some more GC's and put a few away for Christmas. I think you can also get the free magazine subscription again. Then I can call in 4 months and cancel again.

Thanks everyone.... I think I will join again as I used the Target gift cards and others, but I'm puzzled as to why I didn't get an invitation for the $7.95..... Does anyone have a phone number?

I had not rec'd any info from HotWire Savings so I was surprised to try the site today and find in out of operation. Called DealPass and they told me they no longer have theme park passes or meal vouchers so I cancelled. I was not offered anything to continue my membership.

I called Passport to Fun and asked why my monthly fee was 9.95 and not 7.95 as they initially indicated. They said the 9.95 fee was the cheapest offer they could possibly give me and the 7.95 fee mentioned in the initial email was a mistake. I have a feeling they weren't able to switch my account over to the 7.95 fee because they switched it too late. Anyway, they ended up offering a $25 gas gift card to make up for the monthly fee difference. I accepted, especially since I wanted to keep it even with the 9.95 fee!

This is from my welcome memo and it says I am being charged $7.95.

"So take advantage of your Passport to Fun benefits now. If you don't feel that our services and benefits are everything we say they are, simply call us toll-free at 888-840-6303 to cancel your membership. Unless you cancel, in approximately 007 days Passport to Fun will automatically charge the $7.95 monthly membership fee to the credit card on file that you used for your Hotwire Savings Club membership fee. You may cancel at any time and then no longer be charged."

HMMMMM.....I got an email from Hotmail Savings Club in April saying that they would be changing over to DealPass but that I would still only be charged $7.95 - logged onto dealpass for the first time last week and it took me to the old hotwire page still with Disney tickets - then this week I got an email from Dealpass saying my fee would be $9.95 - Sure enough they charged my acct $9.95 and when I checked their site again - no disney tickets. I called to cancel and was offered the $25.00 gas card so I am keeping it for a bit longer however if I do not use it enough I will cancel.
