Has anyone had this problem with National?

I made my reservation about a month ago w/National for December and failed to print
out thr res# at that time. I am an emerald club member and used my Disney Club contract
# and 1 day free rental disney club coupon code. When I made this res# it took both discounts
and told me I had Emerald aisle service, which is one of the main reasons I chose national. Today, I went into their website to print my res. it does not show my free day discount snd says this is counter service. Of course I am mad at myself for not printing that original, but I did not think it would change on me. What should I do now? Cancel and start over or call National and scream at them?

I just posted about National's rates being down again right now. I just rebooked my upcoming trip last night and my rate dropped about $30 dollars...:)

I would first just try rebooking the whole thing, you might come out better off. If you don't, then I would call National and explain to them what happened (and remember, you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar ;) ) and maybe they can help you.

A tip: when you make a new reservation with National, on the final reservation page before you accept it, there is an area to have National send you a confirmation via email so that way in case you forget to print that page you have an email confirmation.

It is still not giving a Disney Club or Emerald Club discount. I tried it with the contract code blank and then with the 2 codes and came up with the same price all 3 times.
 
I made my reservation using both contract and coupon codes and printed out the confirmation and it had both discounts on it. I didn't sign up for emerald isle so I had to go to the counter anyway. They asked me for the coupon for the free day, which of course I didn't bring with me. Most coupons say that you just need to present the disney club card to get the discount. I didn't realize that I needed to bring it. They were nice enough to honor it anyway. I showed them the print out of my confirmation with the discount on it. They were very nice about it. Maybe the coupon is the reason that they changed your service to counter?
 

it seems they are not offering the disney club discount in orlando.....but with other bookings i have tried....eg phoenix and las vegas.....they are giving 10% discount and allowing the coupon too....

so i do not think it is a problem with the website anymore .....but probably they have discontinued the "DC" discount in the orlando market for the time being....

we just got a great rate with ALAMO for dec 1 - 8 for a mid size.......using our rci membership.......total cost ...taxes in are 93$ for the week......but the regular rate for alamo at this time is...

using no code it is 194$ tax in

using YQ it is 135$ tax in....

so we feel very fortunate...since we were originally flying into tampa and renting there for 121$...but now southwest has cheaper flights NON stop into orlando so we cancelled with southwest to tampa and rebooked to orlando using the ticketless refund option on their home page.....it was very easy to do....and thank Southwest for their policies...it sure puts control in the "home" court as far as planning goes
