When I go to the BCV I wonder what rooms are those rooms that have the inside corner porches. You have seen these porches when looking at the resort around the quiet pool area.I wonder if they are studios or 1 bedrooms with a large corner porch.A few of them could be a 2 bedroom also.
HAS ANYONE STAYED IN ONE OF THESE ROOMS.

The second floor corner room has a HUGE porch that overlooks the quiet pool and the entrance to the Villas closest to the "lobby" area. This room is a HANDICAPPED STUDIO. Therefore it has NO tub and limited storage space in the bathroom. Also the vanity is in the bathroom. We had that room in December 03 and LOVED the porch, but hated the shower!

Yes. Room 558 is the 1-BR and 560 is the studio lock-off. The studio portion has the large corner balcony and the 1-BR portion has the long balcony which you can get to from the master BR or the living room. Great view of quiet pool and canal area. Feel free to ask other questions. Send me a pm. Annmarie

You know, I wonder if those corner units are all handicapped so that wheelchairs can make it out to the balconies?

Anyone know for sure? Curiosity has me going now.

The unit we were in was not a handicapped unit. Annmarie

We stayed in a third floor room, inside corner overlooking the quiet pool. We had a dedicated one bedroom with a large triangular porch. People on the left of us also had a large triangular porch. Funny thing was the empty triangular space in between us ,it wasn't part of either unit ! Looked like a playpen !
This unit was not handicapped.

I have just started looking over the floor plans for each section of BCV (ther are about 76 sections) in hopes of creating a single crude floorplan. If these plans did not change the 5th floor would have a dediacated studio and a studio lock-off on each large balcony. The plans have the dedicated studio having a larger share. The 4th floor doesn't have the large balcony. I haven't gotten to the 3rd and 2nd floors yet. (am I showing my obsession yet??)

558 is definitely not a handicapped room, but you will get the elevator noise at night, so if you're a light sleeper it could bug you.

We just stayed in room 360 Saturday night. It was a non-smoking, non-H/A studio. We were very impressed with size of the balcony.

I should've mentioned that about 558 and 560. I am a light sleeper and heard the elevator all night long. DH, DS and friends said they never heard it! Annmarie
