Has anyone gotten into CRT w/o a PS?

On our past trip this May we decided to skip CRT and do the Norway princess breakfast instead. Although we enjoyed ourselves, our DD who is just 2 realized that Cinderella wasn't there. We promised that on our next trip we would eat in the Castle with Cinderella. Well, I should have known better than to make a promise I may not be able to keep. We just decided, under the 60 day calling mark, that we will be going back to Disney 7/26-8/4 (those AP's sure burn a whole in your pocket). I called to see if CRT was available for anytime on any of those days and nothing. I've been calling everyday but still nothing. I told my DD that there is no room at the castle for us this trip. Later that day I saw her moving some blocks away from a building we built. She was saying, "I'm making room at the castle".

Anyway...Has anyone just walked up for breakfast and gotten in without a PS? Is that impossible to do?

I will continue to call daily to see if anything opens up. I'm sure she won't be scarred for life by this experience...at least I hope not!

Not sure about CRT without a PS, but how about dinner at the Grand Floridian with Cinderella, Prince Charming and the mice? It's not the castle, but it's Cinderella and a dinner buffet.

My girlfriend, Her DH and DD were able to get in. They politley waited and were able to be seated. They are very "soft-spoken" people, but her DH was bound and determined to get his DD in the castle to meet and eat with Cindy. Not sure on how long they waited, but they did wait. I hope you find some of the Disney magic.

they sometimes....stress SOMETIMES release PSes 24 hours in advance so call the day before......you might get lucky

Is the dinner at GF w/Cindy and gang a lot more expensive than breakfast w/Cindy?

according to the menus on deb's site, the cost is: cindy's breakfast, $19.99/adult; $9.99/children under 11. dinner at the GF: $23.99/adults; $10.99/children 3-11. hope this helps!

When I was there last May (2002), the two people at the podium in front of me asked if there were any PS available for that morning. They were taken right in - as a matter of fact they were seated before us and we had a very hard to get PS. It was probably because we were a party of 4 and they only had 2.

This doesn't mean that you will be able to do this, only that if you are in the park anyway, it never hurts to ask.
