Unfortunately, the earliest pins usually have the highest availability. Any subsequent discounts likely will have less availability. A good rule of thumb is that the discounts that are offered to fewer people have the highest availability. The availability left over by the time they get to the general public discounts is generally pared down. The amount of a discount usually goes down as well.
Also, since they allow people to continue getting a package discount for their entire trip if they check in on a day that is included, they seem to stop offering discounts prior to dates that they're expecting the resorts to be filled to capacity. So even though the first few black out dates might not actually be all that crowded, the later ones will be (at the hotels).
Basically, 10% is probably the best you can do for those dates, and even so, since room only discounts don't have the same rules as packages (at least that's what I remember reading), your rate will be calculated nightly, meaning you might only get the 10% off for part of your stay.
