Has anyone gotten a discount on a suite at the HOJO?

We made reservations for September for the new kid suites, and they told us there's no discount available for suites (we asked about AAA and the Disboard discount). I THINK DH was talking to in house reservations, but I'm not sure. Since then I've read some things that suggest it is possible to get a 15% discount. Can anyone confirm or deny? TIA!

I don't know if you can get a discount, but it's worth a call to make SURE that he was speaking to "in house". I had an experience where I called at lunchtime, and it rang strangely (there was a bit of a pause between the 3rd and 4th rings, or so), and I was connected to someone who SAID she was "in house" when I asked, but she ultimately was not. I had to ask her specifically (after she said things that made very little sense) if she was "there at the hotel in Anaheim", and finally she said that she was not, and I ended the call. Made sure to call the 714 number during pacific time business hours, NOT at lunchtime! So it's worth a call to make sure.

I can't post the link right now but it says on the hojoanaheim.com website (on the discount board) that there is a 15% discount on suites. (It is mentioned in the part where it says that the suites are not discounted at the entertainment rate as the regular rooms are, but a 15% discount can be used). Hopefully someone can post the link for you.

I just checked the Hojo website and it says that you can get a 15% discount upon check-in if you have an entertainment card. This info. is in the "entertainment card" section on the discussion board on their website. I don't know if you can get the same discount by mentioning disboards or if it if only with the ent. card. Hopefully someone else will know. If you call in-house reservations as mentioned above, they can answer that question for you.

Call back, I called today and both Jennifer and Lorealle were out but I spoke with the SWEETEST person.....anyway, call them (I called on lunch and had NO problems booking Ent Rates/Discount Rates) and ask them to help you.

Thanks everyone! DH just called again and got a 15% discount with the Ent. card (he didn't ask about the Disboard discount, since we were thinking of getting the entertainment card anyway). Whoo hoo! An extra $75 in our vacation fund!
