Has anyone gone to "snowing" at Celebration?

Has anyone done this. Our kids are 5 and 8 and we live in Texas, so snow is a novelty. It sounds like it might a fun evening. Can anyone suggest a good reasonably priced place to have dinner there as well?

Hi there

We have been a few times. It 'snows' nightly on main street at celebration. The snow is foam so you might want to take a towel or change of clothes if your kids will get really wet.

You can also take a horse & carriage ride or a train ride round some of the streets. The houses are decorated lovely.

We have eaten at Market Street cafe and that isn't as expensive as some of the others.

This sounds like another nice holiday thing for us to check out when we are at WDW for Christmas of 08! I have always wanted to go to Celebration but haven't gotten there yet so this might be the thing to finally convince DH it is worth a drive through. I think he is afraid I will want to move there

We didn't think it lived up to the advertisement. It was such a mess that we didn't let our kids get in. It really didn't look safe. Just too slipperly. The other kids were loving it, though, along with a few adults.

We did enjoy walking around town and checking out the holiday decorations.

In addition to Market Street Cafe, there is also the Town Tavern which is reasonably priced and has some good seafood selections. Also, there is On a Roll Deli in town that has one dinner special each evening (eg. chicken marsala with pasta, spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti), usually priced around $7.95, in addition to freshly made sandwich selections.
