Has anyone gone from TL to airport?

Is there a place to shower off and change clothes at TL or BB? We are thinking about going there on our last day and leave for the airport directly from there. Is this a bad idea? And is 2 1/2 - 3 hours there enough time for kids that are 4, 5, and 6 years old?

We did this on our first trip to WDW in 1996. I don't remember the details, but I know that there must have been place to change if nothing else. DH seems to remember that there are showers too. What I do remember is waiting until the LAST minute to leave (boohoo) the park and having to run through the airport (reminiscent of OJ Simpson BEFORE the Nicole Smith murder) to make our flight.

It is always so hard to leave Disney.

Yes, there are showers and changing areas at TL. We always like to change from our wet suits before leaving. Enjoy your trip!
