Has anyone from Boston area heard this?

well you know this is a real old rhyme - cause the only way I would go to Lynn is armed and in a bullet proof Hummer:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yup, I grew up with that one:teeth: But we say:

Trot Trot To Boston
Trot Trot To Lynn
Ya betta watch out
Ya might fall innnnnn (dipping the chilg between the knees)

:)

This is the version I remember as a child and sang to my kids while bouncing them when they were little!

and it's traditionally done while bouncing little one on your knee.. on the "don't fall in" you did the knee dip...

i haven't thought about that rhyme in a wicked long time!

We had something similar but it was about a Billy Goat and Buttermilk...don't ask.

I don't remember the song much at all but I DO remember bouncing on my mom's lap to it and when we got to the "don't spill the buttermilk" part is when basically you would "fall" from her lap but still holding you.

To me it sounds like the same exact thing but with different words.

Edited: Drats!! I didn't even notice this was a resurrected thread from a long time ago until I went back and started reading the rest. Oops!
