Has anyone found detergent tablets anywhere recently?

A Dollar Store near me had single load boxes of Tide and single load boxes of Downy three for a dollar.

Just watch out if you pack those boxes of powdered Tide in your luggage. Put them in a zip-top bag first! I stupidly packed a couple in our bags earlier this year and they got squished -- Tide powder was everywhere. What a mess. Not fun!

I had this problem last February before our trip. I couldn't find them anywhere. I called the airline and asked if taking powdered detergent in a ziplock bag was a problem.

She told me it would be fine, but to prevent any questions they suggested using a detergent with bleach alternative so it has blue flecks in it. I packaged my detergent 1 load to a bag and labeled it detergent. I then put the bags in a bigger ziplock with the dryer sheets. I took the supplies in my carry-on and had no trouble at all.

I had some detergent left and had no trouble on the way home with it in my carry-on either.

If you are terribly worried about security, check out your local laundry mat for small boxes.

strange isn't it laundry tablets are the most popular way of buying laundry detergent in the u.k. i tried looking for them when we were in orlando and did find arial tablets in the new walmart on us 27

I'm so mad that they don't make this anymore! We live in an apartment and have to go to the laundramat. These were so convenient instead of schlepping a big box of detergent (or a messy ziplock bag)

Funny you should bring this up. I just got back from Walmart looking for these with no luck. I sent them to college last year with my son and they were so much easier for him than a heavy bottle of liquid. None of our supermarkets have them either, I will try Target, K-Mart, even CVS. Not sure if they are out there anymore, bummer.
If I can't find them maybe I will do the powder in the zip lock for him. That will be the easiest.

If anybody has seen them please let us know.

I too searched high and low for these last year before our cruise to no avail. Didn't my sweet MIL go to a laundromat and bought me some of the small packets to take along. Our dollar stores, Target and Walmarts never seem to have any of the single packs.

I just bought quite a few of the single load liquid CVS FreeClear detergent. They were on sale for 2 for 99 cents.

I got totally addicted to these darn laundry tablets back when they were free after coupon at CVS a few years back. Then there was a coupon in each free box that was good for 2 more free boxes of Wisk tablets. I had so many they were coming out of my ears, lol.
Anyway....
I saw them a few weeks ago at Big Lots.
