Has anyone ever used an "Umbrella Spotter" on Castaway Cay?

I stumbled upon these adorable "umbrella spotters" online and I wondered if they are very common. You attach them to the umbrella where you are "stationed" at the beach, then you have an easier time spotting your spot among all the others. I'll try to post a link to the picture...

We used a Jolly Roger flag back in 2006. We were traveling with a large group of friends on that cruise and used it as a way everyone could find the group. It was a double dip and we were amazed at how few people got off the ship at CC before noon both stops, so we all set up camp in the same area. It was a great way for the kids in our group to be able to easily spot where the parents were after floating around in the water or being on the play structure.

We never use an umbrella, but these make me wish we did. I love the "Mine, Mine, Mine" one.

The person who makes these used to sell on eBay, but now she's on Etsy, both under "Gradysmommy." She makes wonderful FE's and pillowcases, too!

OT, we have purchased from gradysmommy in the past. She is very good and very creative. I definitely recommend her if you ever need anything.

That site has been posted a few times on here in the past....but honestly, as cute as they are I would say I never saw anyone with them in our 27 DCL cruises....so to answer your question...no, they are not that popular on DCL cruises.

Cute idea though. I also just use my sarong or my DCL logo beach towel

We have one and we loved it! Got lots of compliments and it did make it easy and fun for our son to "spot" our seats. Ours said "our happy place". I plan to get a nice poster size frame and put it in there with some pics from the trip and make a big collage until we use it again! Not sure how to post a pic from my phone but I will try later from my computer!

She's still on Ebay, we got our umbrella spotter from her for our June cruise this year (and a new FE).
