Hoodia does suppress the appetite, aslong as it's the real thing. Not to the point where you don't want to eat but perhaps feel more satisfied more quickly. You still have to use willpower to say no to the wrong types of food though and any good diet plan comes with exercise.
Acai does nothing for weight loss, it's full of good antioxidants so it's not a bad supplement but they aren't going to make you lose the pounds in my opinion.
I was overweight as a child but now I have very much embraced exercise. I don't go to the gym anymore because it was all a bit robotic and boring, I think it's better to get out there in group activities like Zumba or aqua aerobics. Great fun and you can take friends too! I'm sure a lot of people who know me never thought I'd be coaching sport now either but you can motivate yourself to do these things and inspire change on your own.
