Has Anyone Ever Tried Instead?

And what did you think of it? Just tried it yesterday, and I'm not sold on it yet. It's comfortable, but I think kind of a mess to remove. Any other opinions?

Yes. And OMG, it terrified me when I tried to get it out and I couldn't reach it! I tested it first...seemed to stay in place...so I went to the grocery store...still seemed to be in place...

Then a few hours later, I couldn't find it! It went really far up...I was just barely able to snag it with a fingertip. Never again.

OK. I googled it. It is one of those "cup" things we were talking about last week when we were discussing feminine hygene products, but it appears to be disposable, and more pliant.

I don't think I will be trying this one. I'll take my tampons any day.

I highly recommend that you look for a mooncup. There is a piece of silicone that is much easier to grab that is on the end of the cup. BTW, I do not use either of these products, but my sister does and swears by the moon cup. It will also save a lot of money for you in the long run.

Love, love, love Instead! Once you get over the ick factor (it is your own body's ick after all), they are fabulous. Way more healthy than tampons, and a ton more clean feeling than pads. Instead is all I've used for nearly 10 years.

Ug, I'm not usually squeemish, but after googling it and reading how it works......Nope, noway, uhuh. The thought of "spillage" nearly made me nauseous. Funny, tampons don't bother me in the least. Even having to "fish" for the string at times, but the description it gave for removing that contramption gave me the heebie jeebies.

You can wear them twice as long as tampons. Unlike tampons, I have never had a leak or spill once I learned how to put them in. And you can wear them during all sorts of,uh, activities. Yup, they are completely activity proof.

I used OB's for ages...so I guess I kind of got used to 'fishing'

They are great for wearing when you want to 'get friendly' with your SO. There is NO mess.

To me, it actually seems less messy than tampons. It is also good as a backup for really heavy days.

I don't use them all the time, but love them for certain things!

I've used them and yup you have to get over the ick factor!! lol It only took me one time of taking it out wrong to get it right!!! One time I also put it in wrong man what a mess!!lol

I do use them and they are great if So wants some during that time!!!
