Has anyone ever stayed at Polynesian Isles RCI Resort?

My mother got us a week at this resort through RCI exchange. It looks nice on their website and is a Gold Crown resort, but I was looking for a little first hand knowledge.
I am also wondering how long of a drive is it to the parks? Any help out there?

PoohMoma, I've never visited this resort. But, based on the TUG reviews by many who have, I would not hesitate. It's located just off Rte 192, east of Disney, where the construction is finished. The commute to Disney property is reportedly only about 5-10 minutes, so 10-15 minutes to most Disney parks or TTC.

Reviews also say that the rooms are nicely done, comfortable & attractive. The landscaping is also apparently lovely, the staff friendly & helpful and the resort worthy of its Gold Crown status. Sounds like a good choice. Enjoy!
