Has anyone ever refaced their Kitchen cabinets?

I had to update everyone. We finally had our kitchen cupboards refaced in April, along with a new countertop, new backsplash and new appliances. It looks great and we are thrilled! It makes the whole house seem fresher.

The cupboard doors are cherry and look gorgeous. We had new drawers and some pullouts put in, also. We stripped all of the contact paper and sanded down the shelves inside, put in new paper and painted the back and the cupboards look great inside and out.

I never had a dishwasher and finally got an 18 inch as that was all that would fit. I didn't think I would use it much but I use it everyday and love it.

We would definitely reface again. It updated the kitchen but it doesn't look like the kitchen no longer goes with the era of the house like in some remodels as the layout is exactly the same. Everyone was in and out of here in one week and the whole thing from start to finish probably took a month. (This includes picking out everything, emptying the kitchen and putting it back, tiling the backsplash, painting, etc.)

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all on this board. You helped with so many of my questions from appliances to countertops. What a great group of people!
