Has anyone ever received 2 upgrades?

We are thrilled to receive an upgrade from a Cat 11 to Cat 9 for our upcoming Febr cruise - and got our docs this week.
I was wondering, has anyone gotten an upgrade and then received another right before the cruise? Even after the documents have been sent out?

dk not sure if anyone has but i am going to try for our feb1st cruise.
we booked a gty11 2 weeks ago(i know a last minute deal)and got upgraded to a cat8 when we got our documents friday.yeh!
but when i go on expedia or travelocity it shows a lot of cat 4 and 5 open for our cruise so when we get to terminal i'm gonna see if they have any verandah rooms left still and try to get one.(i'll pay for a cat 4 or 5 if not too much)either way on cloud 9 getting an upgrade to a cat8.in fact the weather has been so cold we would be willing to sleep in a cat13 if they had one in the engine room.

Can you tell me how to get an upgrade? We are going in April and the more i think about it the more I would love to have a room with a view.

If you really want one you could change your reservation and pay for one...but that is the only sure way you are oging to get an upgrade...there is no telling who will get it or why, it just happens. ALways book the room you will be happy with because chances are you will not get an upgrade. You could also try to ask at the port and pay for an upgrade there (they are not free)

We booked what we wanted, category 10, and the week before got bumped up to category 6 for free. I don't know of anyone that knows how upgrades are decided.
I AM a stockholder, but Disney has done away with all the discounts for the parks for stockholders, and I doubt they cross reference stockholders to passengers.....I truly think it is a random selection.

Yes, we had booked a Cat. 11 and were upgraded a few days later to a 9. Then the night prior to the Cruise we received a call from DU that we were upgraded again to a 6. But, I have found that this is not the norm. Good Luck, and enjoy your Cruise.

TVGuy...Why you got upgraded from a cat 10, now that is impressive, I haven't heard of a cat 10 upgrade. Maybe there is hope yet, but if not I will get to see a SPR on 8/28/04.
