Has anyone ever processed slides into prints?

if so, where? I can't seem to find anything on line that won't take 3+ weeks or cost my a fortune.
I only have 12 slides so its not to much.

have you got a projector? Project them on a white wall and take a photo of them with your digital camera. I did that with 27+ caroussels full.

We did it a few years ago, but the place we used was a small, local photo printing place. It was expensive, but I don't remember it taking more than a few days.

I'm assuming you don't have a scanner that is capable of scanning slides.

My scanner does, but it's a little time consuming so when I wanted to convert all my slides from the 70s and 80s into digital images (about 30 carousels full) I bought this little slide/negative scanner called a Wolverine. It made the process much faster.

Before I got that, I had looked into options for someone else to do it, and yes - it was very expensive.

If you'd like, since you only have a handful, you could mail me your slides and I could scan them in for you. It would be no trouble at all.

NEE, can we talk too? I have a tube of slides (maybe 15) that my mother bought at WDW when we went Aug. 1972. I've wanted to print the pictures then take photos of the place now to do a comparison album.

Yes, absolutely. I'd like to see those pictures too - I love seeing WDW in the early days. I'll PM you.

DH has scaned all of ours and made prints from there. Can you scan them? If not, pm me and I will see if DH can do it since there is only 12.
