Has anyone ever NOT received their documents before the cruise?

If this has happened to anyone, how does DCL handle this? I have purchased last-minute tickets on CCL, and they have the tickets there waiting. If, the tickets have been lost, however, how do cruise lines handle this? We have a postal service that is forever losing our mail, even after numerous complaints. I will not breathe easy until I get them, but just wondered how it would be handled in the event they are lost?

I don't know how they'd handle it but we got our docs through UPS. At least they have tracking.

I hope this is the case. Like you said, at least it would be able to be tracked. Does someone have to behome to accept the docs? I will call cruise 411 tomorrow (not opened Sundays) I have a good 5 weeks to go, but want to be on top of this. Some of my 9/6 cruisers have already gotten their docs. I guess it depends on the agency.

We will pick up our docs at the terminal on embarkation day, because we will be traveling through Florida the three weeks before the cruise. Our agency (DU) said, that this wouldn't be a problem.

I'm also on the 9/6 cruise and have not reveived my docs. I'm not worried yet, however. I've found the standard timeframe is usually 2 weeks prior to departure. I'm hoping the longer they take to get here, the more likely I'll receive an upgrade - LOL. Wishful thinking, I know.

Maybe they are taking their time because they are trying to figure out which balcony suite they will be giving us. do ya think?
Since I like to have dreams about this cruise, I might as well dream big, huh?
