Has anyone ever not gotten connecting rooms when requested?

We usually stay in one of the one bedrooms. We go 2-3 times a year. However, dd is going in Feb for a cheer competition, and we are required to stay at All Star Sports. I got 2 rooms and requested connecting as my husband needs complete dark and quiet to sleep . That's a whole 'nother story. Heaven forbid I have to get up and potty in the middle of the night. I was told by the CM that because there are 2 adults they won't guarantee the connecting. I know they say that to protect themselves, but really, what are the chances they will make me and dd stay in one room and hubby in another?

We have requested it twice and received it both times... hopefully it works out for you

I requested connecting rooms for our last trip staying at WL and we didn't get the connecting rooms - did get adjacent, but not connecting. Not a big deal for us because we didn't have young kids with us.

Thanks for the replies. I am hoping that since I have a small child they will honor it. Then again, maybe I will stick dd and hubby in a room, and I will stay down the hall. WOOHOO. Mommy vacation! Just kidding...kinda

We did not get connecting rooms at AKL last December as we had requested. The rooms were side by side, but there was no connecting door.
