Payless transportation? I am going with a friend and he was put in charge of transportation. (the only thing I would give up control over) And this is the company he booked for us to get to and from the airport. Now I am second guessing his choice. Help!!!!!!

We've rented from Payless (and their former name, Americar) on several occasions. Always had good prices and nice vehicles. Not to worry!

Car rental folks make alot of money on the sale of insurance.

First, before your trip, check with your own auto ins company.

Do they cover rental cars that you rent?

Second, does your the credit card company provide rental car insurance. In many cases, this is the case for gold or above for MC or VISA. (if you use their card to rent the car.) Key is, know the above BEFORE you rent a car. No need to be covered more than one, or pay the high rates the rental company charges.

Don't get scammed by rental car companies, they will lie like a rug to make addtional profits.

Now I am even more confused. We are just getting transportation from them from the airport to our resort. Do I need to have my own insurance for that? I have taken Tiffany before and have never been asked for insurance. I aksed him to just get a car to take us back and forth. Should I be concerned that that is not what this company does??
We leave in 2 days, I am so upset that he left this till the last minute.

The only Payless I know is an auto rental agency. Maybe there is a Payless towncar/limo service??

I just looked up the website and it is a car service to and from the airport. Not a car rental place. I am all flustered now. I leave tomorrow and no one on here has heard of this service. I will let you know how it works out.
