I saw this on Mousesavers - maybe mods will want to move me to the Budget Board - but they said you could order a double cheeseburger at a counter service (thinking Peco's Bill's or similar) and then ask (maybe pay for) an extra bun to split between two people?
We have an August trip scheduled, and while our two teenage DS's can still scarf down lunch in the park in 90 plus degree weather, DH and I are rarely that hungry and could easily split a double cheeseburger, especially when there's a fixin's bar involved. Not so much looking to save money as not to waste food. Has anyone actually done this?
