There was some info in our phone bill this month for those interested in doing this? Since I stay home, I thought this might be a good way to earn a little extra cash for our Oct. WDW trip. Has anyone ever done this? How do they pay? per hour or amount, minimum wage, do they pay for gas? Is it worth my time? Anybody ever done this?

I did it a long time ago....there were different size routes and you were paid by the size of it so I guess it was by the book....you need a van or SUV to do it...it didn't really pay for me since I had just a car at the time but I did one route a day after work for some extra money but there are people who come with mini-moving vans loading up lots of routes at once with a bunch of workers with them so it is a bit of competition to get good routes etc....they didn't pay for gas back when I did it....

It's probably a little different everywhere, but the guy who supervises my daughter's paper route delivers phone books every year. He gets paid by the book - not much, and they don't pay for gas. He just drives down the streets and throws the books on the lawn. I think my arm would fall off doing that job.;)

Rumor is that it's a big numbers racket:jester:
