Has anyone ever checked into Skyauction week late?

I was wondering if I had a reservation that began on a Sunday but called the resort and said I couldn't be there until Tue night, would I be able to use the last 5 nights of my weeklong reservation?

I would think that if you've already paid for the week, it's yours and they can't give it to someone else. If you let them know ahead of time when you're coming, I would think it shouldn't be a problem. I would check w/ SkyAuction (and the resort too if you're bidding on a specific one) before I bid to make sure, though.

I asked SkyAuction about this. They said it is not a problem but you do need to let the resort know when you will arrive. Same goes for early departure. You have paid for the week so its not a problem.

We checked in at Silver Lake on Wednesday for a Sunday-Sunday reservation with no problems. We called the resort directly about a week before to warn them of our delay.

You'll have to wait until RCI sends the resort your paperwork. Skyauction says the resort is notified about 3 days ahead of time, but I have found they often received notification a bit before that.
