Has anyone ever been to XCARET while at Cozumel?

I am reading a tour guide of Cozumel and it says very good things about XCaret. I was just wondering if anyone had been there, to see if it was worth taking the 45 min. ferry over there.

I went to Xcaret last August. I was vacationing in Playa Del Carmen at the time. Xcaret was wonderful! We really liked swimming in the underground river; the water was so cool and refreshing! My DS12 and DD10 loved the snorkelling and saw so many fish very close to shore. We also did the dolphin swim and of course, that was awesome. We stayed for the dinner/show at night and it was a beautiful presentation. My kids were a little bored with it, but I really enjoyed it. I would say that it's well worth the 45 minute ferry ride! There's just so much to see and do there!

went there about 10 years ago from cancun. the main resaon we ent was to swim with the dolphins.

that alone was worth the trip.

My husband and I went on our last trip. We expected something different. We thought there would be reason to snorkel in the underground river (like fish) but there aren't really any. Think of it as an underground lazy river. I thought it was a nice day with a variety of things to do.

Be aware that if you do the DCL excursion you leave at 4:30 which is before the show mentioned above.

I was there about 7 years ago. I loved it and wished I could have spend more time there!

We did the underground river and I would have liked to to do the above ground one too!

How bad is the ferry over to the main land? I am a little worried that I could get sick. I want to go, but I am concerned about lugging two 4 year olds with me. The park sounds really great though. I was thinking about staying in Cozumel instead, but the Chankanaab park excursions did not get very good reviews in Passporters.
