Has anyone ever been in december?

Because I am going in December and I want to know if its crowded!!! And also what are good parks to go to in December?

It depends on when you are going in December. Are you going the 1st two weeks or so, or over Christmas and New Years?

In my opinion, ALL the major parks (MK, Epcot, MGM, and AK) are good to go to in December, but the MK has lots of decorations, as well as the MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.)

I went the first five days of December last year, and it wasn't crowded. It is really nice with all the decorations!! I suggest you do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the MK (even if you don't celebrate christmas) It's a nice parade, you get a Holiday card sent home with your picture on it, you get hot chocolate and cookies, and some of the rides are open. It was really cold then (and reallllly late at night) The parade was nice too. Oh, yea!! This is where we met Dan Murphy! There are also some christmas shows on in Tomorrowland. When we were online for pictures, there were CM's singing songs. It was nice too.

It was just a really nice night!! (I know I said 'nice' too much, but I really liked it!)

Once it got closer, we were just calling it the MVMCP for short. (Oh!! You get a pin too!)


I also suggest you see the Osbourne light show in MGM. It was really really cool!

I wish I could go in December! It must be really pretty seeing all of the Christmas decorations up. But my family can only go in the summer because we go for about a week and a half and that's too long to miss school.

Thanks you guys really helped and I am going the 10th I think this is the first time that I will be going in December and thanks for the info on MVMCP!!!!!!!! I didn't know.and I also have one more ? I have of course been looking prices on the tickets and one place said 38 per child 48 per adult, another place said 40.28 per child and 50.88 per adult, another place the Disney magazine said that they were having a special in honer of Walt so all tickets were 40.00$ child and adult. So you can imagine that I am very confused. So I was wondering if any of you had any idea what the real price is? 1 more thing I also wanted to meet if anyone else was going around the time that I am going. I am not quiet sure yet but I now that we are going before Christmas in December.

I went in december of 1998. Its the best time to go. We went on dec. 3-7. It was not crowded AT ALL. We practically walked on every ride. MK is so pretty during dec. They have all christmas decorations and everythinjg. Also, MK has Mickey's Very MErry Christmas Party, which is fantastic. In MGM, the osborne lights are a MUST SEE. There r sOoOoOoO many lights! In Epcot, the candlelight procession is really good, too.
